"Hand Hand Fingers Thumb"

Bevan has discovered his fist and his thumb. He looks quite cute when he sucks on his thumb.

We're chilling out at home today. I get the feeling sometimes that we go out too much and that it must be disruptive for Bevan. I also find it quite tiresome loading and unloading him from the carseat at every place we have an errand to do at, it seems he quietens down and starts to doze and then I'm grabbing him out again. Poor little guy.

Anyway, I have to try and do some work on an assignment for Polytech, as well as heaps of housework. I have a backlog of laundry to put away. I also have heaps of clothes to sort through because a lady I know has given me heaps of clothes which her son has outgrown for Bevan. I'm pleased about that though as it will save us a lot of money.

We have Bevans baptismal candle now, and his gown is on its way in the post and should be here tomorrow. We have also arranged for the godparents, Cassy and Mark Hough. I tried baking a practise cake and it didn't turn out right, so I'm going to do a packet one I think. I struggle with baking as our oven has a fan in it and seems to dry things out on the outside before they are cooked in the middle.

This coming week Bevan will get to meet his Grandparents Gerard and Jeanne when they come to stay with us. It should be really neat.
