swimming

We went swimming today.
Bevan has decided that he doesn't like swimming. It makes him feel
scared for some reason.
However, after a few minutes of tears today, we hit upon the idea of
playing on the slide.
He LOVED the slide. I popped him on at the entrance, scooted around to
the exit and caught him as he hit the water each time.
It was nice to find something we could enjoy doing at the pool, and I
think I'll take him back again very soon to consolidate the happy
memories and hopefully make him feel braver at the pool.
