Easter happenings

I'm back from my short trip now. I spent two days in chch with some friends. They've got a baby son and the boys didn't really get along as Bevan kept being a bit rough. Even putting them in the car to go out neccesitated a cardboard barrier between the carseats so they couldn't arm-wrestle! After chch I went to dunedin by car with my father and I stayed with my lovely in-laws. While there we had a mini-family reunion and had my great-grandmother, grandmother, father, me, and Bevan to represent 5 generations of the family. We also had two of my great aunts there as well.
Bevan got to sleep in a big boy bed and did well for half a night before he woke up and snuggled in with me instead.
After all that Bevan and I took the plane back to wgtn. The flight was quite boring and Bevan was a bit fidgetty. The air hostess gave him a chuba-chupp to suck on for the descent and within seconds he'd figured out how to suck lollipops.
Saturday night was a really special night as I got baptised at St Peter and Pauls Church here in Lower Hutt. It was quite emotional and at the end of the ceremony I said to Michael that it really compared with when I got married. I got quite teary-eyed. I don't have any photos of it :-( Just the memories.
Back to reality now and I have mountains of things to do. Lots of washing, housework, correspondance and Avon to catch up on.
Here is Bevan with an easter egg on Sunday morning. He didn't eat this one, just had a small portion of another one and also a bit he stole from my one. (and yes, that is a molar there in his mouth)
