Busy days

We had a busy day today.

He had his 5 month plunket check up and it went well. His nurse Tina
said he is looking great and developing well. He has grown to 7.24kg
and 64 cms long, which is just a wee bit under average. Earlier in the
week he had his five months shots at the doctors too.

We went to PIN group after that and met up with some of our friends. We
know some of the nmummies and babies from other groups too, so Bevan is
getting to know some babies reasonably well. I wouldn't yet say he has
any particular friendships though, he is a bit too little to recognise
the other babies from each time. He has played a bit with Tiaan, Katie
Hermione, Phoebe-Jean, Nathaniel, and Georgina, but that is all because
I know those mummies the best.

Then we went and checked out the gym as my membership has started up
again. I paid particular attention to the creche and have read all
their literature and filled in the forms. He is going to go there
tomorrow morning while I have a fitness test. I hope it goes well, it
will be his first time away from relatives. I have had to label all his
stuff and pack a whole heap of stuff that they recommend.
