Bevans baptism

Bevans Baptism went very well today. He did not cry when the water was poured on his head. It was part of the regular Easter Sunday service, and there were 3 other babies also baptised, 1 of whom belongs to my antenatal group.

Cassy and Mark did a great job in the service doing their first duty as godparents.

Bevan looked very sweet in his gown. It is ivory satin and not frilly, so that he didn't look too girly.

After the service we had lots of guests around to our house. We were able to introduce Bevan to Michaels Aunty, cousins and their children.

I had managed to make a cake yesterday and it actually looked pretty cute in the end, despite my worries.
