We actually managed it. A long distance car trip all the way from wgtn to Auckland. Then 3 nights in a motel. Then a plane ride home. All with Bevan along for the ride.
We were able to visit Bevans great-grandfather John (my mums dad), and his Great Uncle Rolly, Great Aunt Val, and 2nd Cousin Lin (Michaels mothers brother and his family).
Bevan was well behaved on the plane thanks to a dummy. It was cute having the baby seatbelt attachment. He also did very well during the car ride. We had to stop for feeds a few times. He liked it when I showed him our old AA road atlas, as it has pages and pages of pictures of nz nature in the front.
On Monday we even went to the movies with him. He seemed pretty interested in the screen. On Sunday we went to the museum and he slept in his front pack for 2 1/2 hours.

Sounds like u had a great trip. U must have been on cloud 9 after getting soo many family members to meet Bevan.
